Flamboyant Starehe MP aspirant, Steve Ndwiga Mbogo, has today filed a petition challenging the election of Charles ‘Jaguar’ as the member of parliament for Starehe.

Mbogo, who vied on an ODM ticket came second in the August 8 election.

He claimed that Jaguar’s election was marred with massive irregularities.

Responding to the news, another aspirant, Boniface Mwangi, welcomed the news saying that if Jaguar’s election is nullified, then he (Boniface) is ready to hit the campaign trail once more.

He wrote, “Steve Mbogo files petition challenging Starehe MP Charles Njagua's win.  Looks like we might have a by-election in Starehe in the near future.  For those who vote for me, thank you.  I shall be coming back to ask you and your friends to vote for me.”

Kenyans online reacted differently to Mwangi’s statement.
