Western Stima FC has been relegated from the Kenya Premier League.

A late goal by Wesley Kemboi could not rescue Stima from relegation after ten years in the top tier as they went to finish second-last in the 2017 season.

They registered a 1-0 win over Chemelil Sugar in their final round-34 clash played Saturday November 18 at Chemelil Complex.

Stima finished on 38 points, same as Thika United who however enjoyed a better goal difference.

On their part, Thika staged a strong fight to ease past visiting Bandari to survive the league chop by a whisker.
