A section of parents has accused the Former Prime Minister Raila Odinga of his sentiments that the CS Education should resign.
This comes after Raila through the statements to Media houses said the new education policies failed because they went against teacher’s advice.
According to the Parents who spoke to this writer on Thursday at Kisii town, they said that instead of politicians accusing the CS they should bring up solutions.
Led by Thomas Okenyuri they said that the remarks made by Raila Odinga accusing Matiang'i are not the solution to the problems facing the schools.
“Accusing someone is not a solution on what is going on, we need to criticise by providing a solution," said Okenyuri.
He also hailed the Cabinet secretary for the reforms he has made more so in setting measures to curb cheating.
“We want our students to do the exams without any cheating so that we can be able to improve the education standards,” he added.
“How can we return to the old way of doing business that is reinstating prayer days and school visiting days, and also reverting to the old school calendar as Raila said we need to have the facts right and how the old ways have been affecting us,” noted Okenyuri.
