President Uhuru Kenyatta has been called upon to stop attacking opponents and instead ensure that he deals with the escalating corruption cases in the country.
Speaking on Thursday during the devolution conference held in Kisii, Central Ward MCA Wilfred Monyenye said that the president has no good reason for attacking the former premier and opposition leader but instead ensure that he deal with the facts.
“The country is in a mess considering the fact that the corruption cases are on the rise and we want Uhuru to deal with that by ensuring that all bodies are working towards getting a solution to end corruption,” he said.
Monyenye added that the National government has failed to give the clear picture and guidance to the county governments hence resulting to the cases that have been witnessed.
This comes barely a day after the president challenged Raila to join him to fight corruption instead of finger pointing all the time.
