Nandi Hills MP Alfred Keter has told Deputy President William Ruto to desist from attacking the opposition.
Keter argues that the DP risks losing goodwill with his continued attacks on the opposition as he quests to succeed president Uhuru Kenyatta.
Keter urged Ruto to cease meddling with opposition affairs and concentrate on making the Jubilee Coalition better.
"I ask the DP to let the opposition be. He must stop attacking them every time. He must not risk losing the goodwill of Kenyans. Why batter further a wounded dog?" he posed.
The Nandi hills MP added that Ruto was winning leverage to the opposition by talking more about them.
"He is winning Cord leverage to fight him," he added.
The Deputy President has in the recent past been embroiled in a bitter war of words with the opposition coalition Cord, dismissing their leadership as incompetent for Kenyans.
