Prof Edward Kisiangani during Citizen TV's Power Breakfast show said Duale had become a liability to the Jubilee administration.

"In terms of political mileage, you are reckless," Prof Kisiangani said.

"In fact, you hurt your party in a bad way. The emotional thinking about that is that you belittle some people and in fact, some people in your party think you are a liability."

Duale is Majority Leader in Parliament and has since 2013 defended government against all allegation on corruption.

When Cord leader Raila Odinga unearthed graft scandals within government, he stood firm criticizing the opposition chief saying he is not clean enough to fight graft.

"His double standards spell doom for citizens in ODM-controlled counties," Duale said.

"It is evident that Raila will not only condone corruption there but also spare no effort to defend those participating in it."

"When it comes to his associates, Raila suddenly detects a distinction between preliminary and final audit reports. It is sad indeed that the war on graft has been infiltrated by charlatans, hypocrites and poachers dressed as gamekeepers."

Prof Kisiangani spoke a day after former Kathiani MP Wavinya Ndeti told Mr Duale to stop being reckless and conduct himself like a parliamentarian.
