Former Likoni MP Masoud Mwahima has asked President Uhuru Kenyatta to stop being soft of NASA leaders and politicians.

Mwahima says that Uhuru’s government will not actualize its development agenda if it entertains NASA’s ‘nonsense’.

Speaking in Likoni on Monday, the former ODM MP said that it is time President Kenyatta firmly dealt with Raila and other opposition politicians allegedly agitating for violence.

He said that Raila will continue to hold the country’s hostage through hos unconstitutional tactics if Uhuru Kenyatta does not act on him firmly.

He said that Raila is planning to sabotage Uhuru’s government and ensure that the president does not execute his mandate.

“President Kenyatta must stand firm and authoritatively deal with people who are posing threat to the country’s unity and security,” he said.

He said that Raila’s continued push to be sworn in as the people’s president is causing anxiety.

He said that the former Prime Minister agenda is to hold the country hostage and seek international sympathy.

Mwahima, who abandoned Raila’s ODM party and joined Jubilee before losing re-election in the August 8 polls asked Uhuru to take stern action on leaders who spew hate and use illegal political strategies to achieve their selfish agendas.

The former MP said that the country will be revolving around politics if Raila and others are not tamed.

The opposition insists that plans to swear in Raila Odinga are on course.

 In his Christmas and New Year message, Raila said that NASA will intensify its push for reforms through civil disobedience, street demonstrations, and economic boycott.

The government has warned NASA against any attempts to swear in Raila Odinga saying it will amount treason whose punishment is death.
