ODM has dismissed as illegal President Uhuru Kenyatta's renewed launching of projects across the country, saying it is part of the governments bribery to the voters ahead of the August 8 polls.

According to party Secretary General Agnes Zani, it is already too late for Jubilee to convince Kenyans who have already decided to have a new government.

"We have been suffering due to poor services while millions are pocketed by top government officials and people close to them," she said.

She said it is against the law for Jubilee to come with these projects 27 days to the general election.

"Section 15 (d) of the Election Offences Act, 2016 specifically prohibits public officers from using public resources for the purpose of supporting a candidate or political party in a constituency or county," she said.

"As we protest against an IEBC list full of fake voters, the President is using state resources to campaign," she added.
