Nakuru Woman Rep Liza Chelule has told off politicians eyeing positions in the 2022 elections.

Speaking in Molo on Saturday, February 3, Chelule said she is now the county MP and anybody salivating for the seat should wait until 2022.

"People should stop moving around politicking, I am the Woman Rep till 2022. They should know that," Chelule said.

The MP was attending the burial of Nakuru county secreatry Ben Njoroge's mother in Tayari Farm.

Chelule won the seat after defeating former Nakuru Woman Rep Mary Mbugua during the Jubilee nominations last year.

She however faced a formidable force from Naivasha politician Agnes Njambi Githinji.
