The MP claims that Joho and some other opposition leaders have little regard for the presidency.

The lawmaker observes that the presidency is a symbol of unity that every Kenyan whether a leader or not needs to respect.

Kiragu said that Joho’s lecture and direct questioning of President Uhuru Kenyatta’s development agenda was an insult.

“Joho must apologise to President Kenyatta over the public lecture he made to the President in Mombasa on Thursday last week,” he said on Wednesday in Limuru town.

Kiragu claimed that some opposition leaders are out to demean the presidency.

Governor Joho last week dismissed Jubilee government development agenda at the Coast.

The governor openly dismissed Uhuru's government accusing it of riding on projects that were launched by the Coalition government.

The vocal governor claimed that all the projects being undertaken at the Coast have been sponsored by International donors and not Uhuru’s government.

On Wednesday during an opposition rally at the Bomas of Kenya, Joho told off those asking him to apologise to Uhuru.

The Governor said that he will not apologise for telling the truth.
