[Photo|Nasa coalition]The Opposition's NASA has been criticised, and warned against its frequent attacks on the electoral body, the Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission (IEBC).A lobby group, Wazalendo Huru Congress also criticised Nasa for constantly attacking the IEBC commissioners and secretariat, saying attacks on CEO Ezra Chiloba by politicians and some civil society groups were unwarranted with aims to discredit the electoral body.John Korir, the group's chairman raised fears that the Commission could be succumbing to Nasa's threats, saying: "Our fears remain real unless otherwise assured, that IEBC has been turned into a gravy train whose driver might drive us to a crash."According to him, IEBC chairman Wafula Chebukati was giving in to Nasa's demands, and further challenged it to remain independent as the Constitution directs.Nasa has been putting pressure on IEBC to retire Chiloba and some members of the Secretariat, following nullification of August presidential election by the Supreme Court.Korir was speaking Wednesday.
