Nyenze wants Malombe and Musila to address their issues without mentioning Kalonzo’s name.

Speaking to journalists in Kitui town on Wednesday, the MP said that Kalonzo deserves respect as Wiper party leader.

He stated that the wrangles pitting Malombe and Musila over the Kitui gubernatorial race should not make them enemies.

“Governor Malombe and senator Musila should respect Kalonzo as Wiper party leader and a senior Ukambani politician and stop dragging his name into their issues,” said the leader of minority in the National Assembly as quoted by the Star.

Nyenze warned that current wrangles pitting Malombe and Musila over the Kitui governor seat could easily cause tension in large Wiper party.

He asked the two politicians to dialogue on issues instead of blame games and lame accusations.

Governor Malombe and senator Musila are not seeing each other eye to eye.

Senator Musila has declared interest to unseat Malombe in the August 8 general election.

Last week Musila claimed that Kalonzo had endorsed Malombe for re-election.

The Wiper party chairman further claimed that Kalonzo was campaigning for Malombe.

During a rally at Mutomo  market in Kitui south last week, Musila is said to have walked out of the rally that was being led by Kalonzo after it merged  that Kalonzo had allegedly asked locals to re-elect Malombe as governor.

Kalonzo has however denied campaigning for Malombe saying that Wiper party nominations will be free and fair. On the other hand, Musila says that he will not drop his bid to unseat governor Malombe in the August 8 polls.
