Bomachoge Borabu MP Joel Onyancha has warned politicians aspiring for various elective seats from his constituency in the forthcoming general election to stop early campaigns, and keep off politics from projects initiated by the current leaders.
Onyancha regretted that there were busy bodies crisscrossing the constituency undermining the current elected leaders with misleading information that the leaders had failed to deliver on their mandate, and should be voted out in the coming elections.
Speaking at Endereti COG Mixed Secondary School in Bokimonge Ward in his constituency during a book donation event, the legislator reminded those aspiring for various elective seats that it was too early for them to start campaigns under wishful thinking that they will trounce the current leaders come next elections.
“I am challenging those running around purporting to be seeking for various elective leadership positions to come clear and tell the electorate when the seats they are campaigning for were declared vacant, by who and why, yet the holders of those seats are in office discharging their mandate in the current term of office,” stated Onyancha.
Onyancha sneered at his political detractors, who were going round the constituency accusing him of failure to address the challenges posed by impassable roads, reminding them that he had his development programmes plans for the constituency in place, and it was not his business to broadcast when each of the programmes will be implemented.
The legislator assured the electorate that all the road projects his opponents were purporting he had failed to implement will be completed in classified phases before the end of his current parliamentary term.
Area MCA George Bibao also took a swipe at his political opponents inciting the electorate against him over some impassable roads, reminding them that he was in charge and all roads in question will be taken care of according to his development agenda without external pressure.
