President Uhuru Kenyatta has been advised to engage his equals in the political field and desist from attacking small time politicians like Mombasa governor Hassan Joho.
Political analyst Barack Muluka warned that the president risks losing respect among the four opposition leaders and other presidential contenders should he continue engaging in political brawls with governors.
"If i were the president's advisor i would tell him not to engage people like Joho. These are small time politicians who he should let his foot soldiers handle.Otherwise he will lose respect among his equals who are seeking to dislodge him from the presidency,''he told Milele Fm on Monday.
On Sunday at a rally in Tononoka stadium in Mombasa the president took a swipe at the Mombasa governor accusing him of doing little to his electorate and only criticizing the national government.
Earlier on a visibly angry Uhuru engaged in an ugly spat with Turkana governor Josphat Nanok when he toured the country. The president accused Nanok of misleading residents.
