Education CS Fred Matiang'i has cautioned Kisii governor James Ongwae to stop "following" him every time he attends public meetings in the county.
Speaking at Nyanturago Secondary School where other Jubilee leaders had convened for a rally on Sunday, the CS lashed out at Ongwae and his team for allegedly trailing him to every small event he attended.
He said he had been invited to the functions he attended and asked the governor to convene their own meetings instead of attending those they were not invited to.
"I don't know them. Who are they? We had not planned the meeting and I have no business waiting for them," he said as reported by the Standard.
He added that he already has his group among the Gusii region with whom he had vowed to work.
He was speaking this in relation to an earlier fund-raiser at Masimba Catholic Parish, Nyaribari Masaba, where he was invited as chief guest and where Ongwae attended 'uninvited'.
