Real estate tycoon David Ngari alias Gakuyo has asked Governor William Kabogo to stop forcing himself to Kiambu people.

Gakuyo claims that Kabogo was rejected by locals in the Jubilee Party nominations and that he should honour their wishes.

The real estate tycoon who is a member of the ‘United for Kiambu Alliance’ led by governor hopeful Ferdinand Waititu states that Kabogo will still lose even if he runs as an independent candidate.

“Kabogo’s political fate was sealed in the JP nomination and he should stop bothering and forcing himself to the people,” he said as quoted by the People Daily on Tuesday.

Gakuyo claimed that Kabogo has no numbers to beat Waititu even if he contests as an independent candidate.

The real estate tycoon indicated that Kiambu people are tired with Kabogo’s alleged poor, dictatorial and oppressive leadership.

Gakuyo asked Kiambu locals to reject Kabogo’s re-election bid saying he has nothing new to offer.

Kabogo lost the JP ticket to Waititu in the nominations but will be seeking re-election as an independent candidate and has vowed to floor ‘Baba Yao’.

He claims that he lost the ticket as a result of malicious propaganda allegedly peddled by rivals. He has urged locals to endorse his re-election based on the development track record his administration has made.
