Newly married people have been advised to stop forging documents so that they can make work easier when they go for identification cards.

According to the officer in charge of registration In Kitutu Chache South Writher Okindi, she said that most people who area affected are ladies since once they are married they try to forge documents.

Speaking at Kitutu Central ward during the launching of My ID My life campaign she advised them to avoid forging of documents so that they can have an easier process once they go for IDs and other essential documents.

“My advice to the newly married people more so ladies is that let them avoid forging documents so that once they want to change their documents it will easier for them,” she said.

Okindo said that as the officer in charge of registration the problem has been costing many people who took a lot of time to acquire the Identification cards.

She added that there are many documents which will be needed as a family like Birth certificates hence it is advisable for the couples to have their documents right.

The exercise was officially launched at Kitutu Chache South which will go all round to 10 sub counties targeting 25,000 people.
