“The media has been unfair to us as Wiper party, as members of the fourth estate you ought to report objective ad sieve between facts and propaganda,” he said during a Wiper National Executive Council meeting in Nairobi on Tuesday.
Maalim downplayed media reports of fresh rifts among Wiper leaders and members, saying that the party is united and strong.
The former Deputy speaker and the Garissa Parliamentary seat aspirant said that the party is focused on party nominations and will not be derailed by propaganda reporting.
There have been claims of internal wrangles among Wiper leaders and members in the recent past, with information that some wiper members and officials might be on their way out of the Kalonzo Musyoka led party.
Sources allege discontent among some officials in regard to the party’s readiness for nominations, with some members demanding for direct tickets for certain seats.
