Central Organization of Trade Unions (COTU) secretary general Francis Atwoli has asked National Super Alliance (NASA) leader Raila Odinga to stop issuing threats of boycotting the general elections.
Atwoli said Raila should instead start getting ready for the repeat presidential election which IEBC has scheduled for October 26.
He pointed out that Raila must stop living in denial with claims that he was not consulted concerning the date announced by the IEBC.
The COTU boss urged Raila to move across the country campaigning before the showdown between President Uhuru Kenyatta and himself.
“Raila should be ready for the elections any day, he should stop living in denial that he was not consulted on the date for the repeat election," Atwoli said.
"He should equip himself by campaigning across the country,” he added.
