Former Taita Taveta Women Representative Joyce Lay has warned NASA leaders against holding the country hostage and to allow Kenyans to move on with their lives.Lay claimed that NASA leaders have held the country captive, adding that its time they accepted the will of the people and allowed them to go on with their activities.Speaking to journalists in Voi Town on Sunday, Lay who unsuccessfully contested for the Taita Taveta senate seat on a Jubilee party ticket in the August 8 poll alleged that NASA leaders are desperate and want to cause anarchy in the country.She said Kenyans are tired and fatigued with election issues and want to move on with their lives.“NASA leaders led by Raila Odinga should accept the fact that President Kenyatta will be in power for the next five years and let the country move on,” said Lay.The Jubilee politician further claimed that NASA’s plan is to cause economic crisis through malicious threats.She asked Kenyans to stand up and reject opposition’s alleged plot to cause anarchy and tribal divisions in the country.A section of politicians allied to Jubilee has accused NASA of plotting to cause violence after the alliance transformed into a National Resistance Movement (NRM).
