A section of youths allied to ODM party have warned nominated senator Millicent Omanga against sneaking DP William Ruto's agenda in the name of Abagusii unity.
For weeks now, the outspoken Jubilee politician has been pushing for unity among Abagusii, with election of Ruto as president being at the epicenter of her calls.
"Once we are united, we shall now easily push for a deputy president post due to our numbers," she said at a function in Borabu.
Later this month, all elected leaders from Gusii region would be meeting to discuss unity among the community in what is seeing as first attempt to speak as one voice.
Let by Kitutu Masaba ODM youth leader Douglas Maati, they said that unity talks will only be accepted if leaders shun 2022 presidential debate.
"We can allow unity that is being stage managed by Ruto. It is paramount that the likes of Senator Omanga stopped misusing the community. She should spare us such politics.
"If at all we shall have unity talks, let it revolve around development and not succession politics which she is imposing on us,"he added.
