As uncertainty continues to linger over the future of the Cord coalition amid internal differences over the presidential bearer question, Amani National Congress (ANC) leader Musalia Mudavadi has pleaded with the coalition principals to stop the perpetual infighting that has dogged the outfit in the past few weeks.
Speaking at Mwamgunga Primary School in Kwale on Saturday, Mudavadi said that if given a chance by the coalition to take on President Kenyatta in the next poll, he will win.
According to Mudavadi who has been a subject of speculation in the past few weeks amid reports that he is planning to join Cord, the continued wrangles in the coalition will only increase chances of Uhuru being reelected.
"I would like to tell my brothers to stop the fighting, and if they have failed to resolve their differences, they should give me a chance to lead them and I will score some goals," Mudavadi was quoted by Daily Nation.
Both Raila Odinga, Kalonzo Musyoka and Moses Wetangula have claimed they are the best-placed candidates to take on Jubilee in 2017 elections.
