A nominated TNA Senator has hit out at the Deputy President William Ruto over what he termed as ‘insulting’ and 'demeaning' other leaders.
Speaking on Monday, senator Ben Njoroge said Ruto should respect other leaders.
Njoroge claimed Ruto is undermining President Uhuru Kenyatta.
“It is President Kenyatta’s desire and goal to bring together all people together, and it is unfortunate that certain politicians are making outrageous remarks which undermine the President and the Jubilee,” the senator said.
“We cannot purport to be working towards bringing communities together while certain politicians including the Deputy President are demeaning them,” he added.
The TNA senator said Ruto ‘insulted’ Baringo Senator Gideon Moi when he toured South Rift.
The Naivasha politician was recently plunged into political wars after he told off Ruto over the 2022 poll saying the DP should stop insulting the Kikuyu community to support him when that time comes.
Njoroge, however, however said he has nothing personal against the DP.
