"It's wise to treat your poor neighbour with respect because you never know what tomorrow holds, the same neighbour you are looking down upon might turn out to be your boss and this message should reach our good DP," said the MP.

This comes as the Opposition accused Ruto of demeaning them.

"If there is one person who will suffer if ODM splits, that person is Deputy President Ruto because the same party he is fighting might come to help him in the near future," he said.

Cheruiyot warned that it's politically risky and wrong for Ruto to ruin a house he might need later in his political career.

"It will reach a time when he will need to run and seek for help from the same house he is trying to bring down," added Cheruiyot.

The URP legislator said it is disheartening to see Ruto celebrating the troubles facing ODM.
