Turbo MP Elisha Busienei has urged the National Super Alliance (Nasa) principals to stop interfering with IEBC.
"We want the opposition leaders to leave IEBC alone to plan on how to conduct free and fair elections. Why are they always on their neck, this clearly shows they fear elections," he said during a press briefing in Eldoret town, Thursday.
"IEBC is an independent body and should be left to conduct it's business professional but with such interruptions Kenyans might not believe the outcome of the elections.''
He reiterated that Nasa is bringing uncalled for tension in the country which is not good during the electioneering period.
He however, condemned the use of a parallel tallying center by the opposition, saying its against the law.
"IEBC is the only body that is mandated to tally and announce election results. NASA move is uncalled for since its a recipe for war of their results won't tally with those of IEBC," he added.
He called on all aspirants to ensure they conduct their campaigns peacefully and should avoid inciting their supporters against their competitors.
