Senate Deputy Speaker Kindiki Kithure has urged those lobbying for Cabinet Secretary and Principal Secretary Jobs to stop doing it through the media.
Speaking while attending the burial of Linus Gatobu who was a political analyst at the office of the leader of the majority in the Senate at Kigane South Imenti constituency, Kindiki said that President Kenyatta will ensure that the cabinet will be inclusive of all communities represented in the country.
“Not everyone will make it in the cabinet, but those who will be left out will be given other jobs in parastatals or foreign envoys. Let the president do his job the best way he knows. Kenya is big and people from all communities belong to this great country,” the Kithure said.
He expressed confidence in the Jubilee administration terming it the government of the people and by the people.
He said that there are no traces of nepotism or tribalism in the government. Therefore, called on cabinet secretaries hopefuls to cease from using the media as the platform to seek the ticket to the cabinet.
He urged those lobbying through the press to stop it as it might work against their efforts.
In the recent past, a cross-section of Jubilee leaders expressed cracks in the party as different MCAs and opinion leaders argued on whether Cabinet Secretary Mwangi Kiunjuri should be retained in the cabinet or not.
