Lari MP Mburu Kahangara has hit out at the opposition led by Raila Odinga for criticising the newly launched Jubilee Party.
Kahangara wants the Cord leader to stop meddling into Jubilee Party affairs and focus on opposition issues.
The MP claimed that Raila is getting obsessed with Jubilee affairs.
He said that Raila’s continued criticism of the Jubilee party and the government is malicious.
“Raila should stop meddling into Jubilee affairs and focus on Cord issues,” he said on Friday when he addressed locals at Kwa Regi trading centre in Lari on Thursday.
“If he (Raila) wants to join Jubilee should do so and stop this malicious criticism and propaganda he has about Jubilee,” added the MP.
Kahangara claimed that Raila is unable to address issues in Cord and wants to interfere with Jubilee Party.
“We all know that Cord is a sinking ship and instead of Raila and his people focusing on their issues they are busy criticising President Uhuru Kenyatta and his government,” he said.
The MP also claimed that Raila had sensed defeat in 2017 polls and is looking for a way of remaining relevant politically.
Several politicians allied to Jubilee government have criticised Raila for allegedly meddling into Jubilee affairs.
Raila last week claimed that Jubilee government was allegedly using proceeds of corruption to fund the launch of the newly launched Jubilee Party claims the government has vehemently refuted.
