Wiper Party leader Kalonzo Musyoka has cautioned Jubilee Party officials drawn from the Lower Eastern region against misleading the Kamba Community to reelecting President Uhuru Kenyatta during the forthcoming general elections.
Speaking on Monday during a political rally in Machakos, the former Vice President challenged the locals to back Opposition coalition NASA presidential candidate Raila Odinga's bid, noting that the community's interests are best represented in the outfit.
Kalonzo is set to deputize the former Prime Minister under the NASA ticket, a replica of the 2013 general elections ticket under Cord.
"Now we are in a serious business of saving the entire people of Kenya from misrule. My problem is the few people who are misleading Kamba community into Jubilee and I want to tell them to read the signs of the times that Kenya is in a revolutionary mood," he said.
Despite the region voting overwhelmingly for the duo in 2013, Jubilee Party has been attempting to make inroads in the Kamba Community through Wiper Party rebel politicians.
The politicians include Machakos governor Alfred Mutua and a host of legislators.
