Nyaribari Chache 2017 MP hopeful Zaheer Jhanda has urged Nyaribari Chache locals to stop playing politics based on clans.
Speaking in Kisii town on Monday, Zaheer said that he will be on the ballot in 2017 to battle with other candidates after he lost in 2013.
"I contested for the Nyaribari Chache seat and lost for the first time in 2013. In 2017 I will be on the ballot to battle against Tong'i and former MP Robert Monda among others. Locals should stop playing clan based politics. Let us compete with a clean heart," he noted.
He added since the 2013 elections, he has learnt many things which have kept him strong to vie for the seat for the 2nd round in 2017.
He urged locals not to vote for leaders based on their clans of origin.
He argued that he will work around the clock if elected as the next MP.
