Former Kibwezi MP Kalembe Ndile has accused National Super Alliance (NASA) leaders of allegedly poking holes into the Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission (IEBC) affairs.

Ndile wants NASA leaders to keep off IEBC and allow the Wafula Chebukati led commission to prepare for credible August 8 general elections.

Speaking to journalists in Machakos Town on Thursday, Kalembe accused NASA of allegedly trying to obstruct IEBC activities as the country heads to the general election.

The Mavoko Parliamentary seat aspirant alleged a plot by NASA to derail the August 8 general elections.

He claimed that NASA is not ready for the August election because it knows it will lose against Jubilee Party.

“NASA leaders must stop obstructing IEBC activities and allow the commission prepare for the August elections without interruption,” he said.

The former Kibwezi MP said that Kenyans will not allow the August polls to be derailed by selfish leaders.

Ndile at the same time told NASA to forget votes from Ukambani. He said that Ukambani locals are not ready to be in the opposition again.

“Kambas have been in opposition for ages and this time round they want to taste the fruits of being in government,” he said.

Ndile who is the Jubilee Party chief campaigner in Ukambani promised to deliver Kamba votes to President Uhuru Kenyatta’s vote basket in the August 8 general elections.
