Water and Irrigation CS Eugene Wamalwa has asked political parties to stop politicising all issues about the IEBC and instead let the commission do its work.
Speaking on Wednesday during the launch of the cash transfer programme in Busia, Wamalwa said enough money has been allocated to the commission as well as to the police and Judiciary to enable them carry out their mandate effectively without political intervention.
The cash programme is targeting people aged 70 and above.
Budalang’i MP who is also Labour Party of Kenya leader Ababu Namwamba echoed the sentiments of Wamalwa, saying that he will work with the CS and Jubilee as a whole to ensure President Uhuru Kenyatta is re-elected.
