Leaders in Kisumu County have been asked to stop politicking and concentrate on the development of the county.Kisumu County Deputy Governor Mathew Owili called on all the county leaders to unite and focus their energies on economic development.Mr Owili said those who criticise the work that the county government does and play baseless politics should stop as this hinders development in the county.Speaking in Nyamasaria, the deputy governor asked the leaders who are undermining his administration to resign if they can’t deliver their mandate.“I am asking the leaders who are constantly undermining my administration to let the county government work and deliver its pledges to the electorate,” he said.Mr Owili assured residents that the county government is committed to implementing the Sh4.5 billion Kisumu Urban Project.He further said that his administration is fully committed to delivering to the people, adding that road construction is the first of the many projects the county has up lined to spur economic development.“Development is key in improving the livelihoods of residents and the residents should expect nothing but service delivery from my administration,” said Owili.Is there a newsworthy accident, incident or event happening in Kisumu County that you want Hivisasa to cover?
