Migori Gounty senator Wilfred Machage has told the Coalition for Reform and Democracy (CORD) leadership to put their house in order to avoid commotion before general election.
Machage told his Bungoma counterpart Moses Wetangula, who is also a co-principal in the coalition, to stop fumbling over the Cord flag-bearer but to sit down with both Raila and Kalonzo to decide on the way forward on issues concerning the coalition.
He said their supporters were keenly watching and when leaders begin brushing shoulders, then they would have no choice but to quit to other stable and more organised coalitions.
Machage who was talking during a fundraiser in Migori town also told Cord leader Raila Odinga to stop uttering words to the public before consulting with President Uhuru.
He said it is appropriate to address the public after they have sat and agreed on a subject matter for another leader not to feel secluded adding that constant disagreement among leaders will take Kenya back to the dark old days.
The senator said that as democratic opposition members, negotiating with the government of the day will help promote harmony and tolerance among Kenyans adding that citizens are exhausted to see constant leader’s battle.
