Deputy president William Ruto has challenged Kisii residents to disregard claims from the opposition over the removal of IEBC commissioner from office.
Addressing residents at Ibeno in Nyaribari Chache when he laid the foundation stone in aid of the construction of Ibeno medical training centre Deputy president Ruto said that there is an agreement for the removal of IEBC commissioners hence the opposition should keep off from their reckless talk about it.
"We don't want to have reckless talks about IEBC there is an agreement for the removal of Commissioners,Jubilee," said Ruto.
He further urged residents to avoid demonstrations since it does not add value on the removal of the commissioner.
"We hope that the commissioners are going to quit honorably but we can not expect to have a vacuum in the commission, the due process needs to take its course so that they can hand over to the new commissioners," added Ruto.
DP Ruto added Jubilee Government is focused in making sure that there is development across the country.
"As the Government we are focused in achieving our goals so that we can develop our country.
