The NCIC chairman Mr. Ole Kaparo has urged Kenyans to remain calm and to stop spreading falsehood on social media since such news might lead Kenya into a more serious crisis than it is now. Speaking during a press briefing this morning at NCIC officers in Nairobi Kaparo also challenged the IEBC to conduct a free and fair election by following the law and correcting the errors as instructed by the supreme court.
“I urge the IEBC to follow the law while conducting the election and ensure that they have delivered free and fair elections to Kenyans”, Said Ole kaparo.
Kaparo added by urging the journalist to uphold their journalist role of gatekeeping and preaching peace among Kenyans.
This comes after canceling of the meeting that was to be held by IEBC today at 2.30pm under unclear circumstances.
