Two clerics have told Nakuru residents to stop stigmatizing HIV victims. Pastor Joseph Olweny of African Christ church and his counter part Rev Simon Odhiabo of Together in Christ Ministry,said the Nakuru residents especially from Ronda had developed a tendacy of discriminating against HIV victims.

Speaking during the laying of foundation of the African christ church in Ronda ,they expressed concern that the fight against the killer disease would be hampered if HIV victims continue facing stigma

"If we continue with this behavior of dicrimintating the victims the we will not win this war against the scourge",said Odhiambo.

He said discrimination and stigma have detered many people from going for a test therefore hampering with the treatment and prevention.of the disease.

"If the government want to win this war then it must come out with a bill to protect the victims from any kind of discrimination",said Olweny
