Oloo said that the two should instead join hands and work together.

Speaking in their offices TNA Secretary General, Onyango Oloo, said that the two principals are not showing solidarity because demonstrations are not held in their strongholds but they are only targeting one community.

“We would like to tell Kalonzo and Wetangula to show seriousness in this issue if for real they want IEBC to be disbanded and let the demonstration not only be held in Nairobi, Kisumu and Migori,” he said.

He added that, that shows lack of patriotism and borders on ethnicity since the two principals have allowed their community’s leaders to engage the government for development projects.

“If they are saying that they are calling for demonstrations countrywide to ensure changes to IEBC, then we expect to see those demonstrations in Bungoma, Kakamega, Kitui and Tseikuru,” he added.

He denied that Jubilee coalition had partisan interests in defending IEBC but only protecting the sovereignty of the constitution which they were not ready to surrender.

“We are ready and willing for any lawful change to the law and if cord continues with the protest we will call our supporters to meet with them head on in defence of the constitution and the law,” he said.
