[Photo|ODM]Opposition leader Raila Odinga has warned his political rival, President Uhuru Kenyatta against warning and asking him to participate in the October 17 fresh presidential election. The National Super Alliance (Nasa) leader while speaking in Narok town, said Uhuru was forcing him and the Opposition to participate in the election, yet the Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission (IEBC) was still faulty. He said the Commission was yet to rectify mistakes that led to the nullification of the August 8 elections by the Supreme Court, hence lacked public confidence and credibility to conduct another poll, without dismissal of culpable staff. "We cannot be forced by Uhuru and Ruto into going into the election if our conditions are not met. IEBC messed us up and we cannot entrust our votes to them again. All the necessary changes we proposed must be met before Nasa participates in the election," said the presidential candidate, Saturday.Raila, flanked by fellow co-principal Musalia Mudavadi and Senators James Orengo, Johnston Muthama (former), and Kajiado Central MP Elijah Memusi among others, also addressed residents in Ntulele and Ewaso Nyiro, where he attacked Uhuru, saying he had no presidential powers to threaten him."Uhuru should stop threatening me that he is the president. I also represent many Kenyans. We are not in a dictatorial state. I want to remind him that his powers ended on August 8," he said.
