CCU party leader and Machakos gubernatorial aspirant Hon Wavinya Ndeti have called on Machakos governor Dr Alfred Mutua to stop using his party's branding on county projects. Almost all county projects have Chap Chap branding and according to Wavinya this is wrong and the projects should bear county government of Machakos branding.In 2015 Machakos county Assembly banned Mutua from using his personal photos in county projects but that has since gone on to date.Wavinya who was speaking in Kasinga, Mumbuni after meeting coffee farmers also cautioned members of the public from being duped by former CCU officials who are allegedly carrying out recruitment of party members.
She also invited different aspirants to use CCU party to contest for different positions.
The high court Friday issued an injunction order stopping CCU leader Wavinya Ndeti and three others from acting as officials until an application contesting the rightful ownership is heard and determined. The case will be heard on March 20, 2017.
