Speaking during a rally in Trans Nzoia county Thursday, Musalia said that the duo is clinging on their names in search of a re-election portraying them as incompetent leaders who underperformed and failed in their duties when they were serving in the government.

''Both of them, Uhuru and Ruto were part of the grand coalition government so for them to blame us they have to justify that they did their part as well. They also have to show us what they did during their tenure,''said Mudavadi.

Kenyatta and Ruto held the positions of Co-Deputy Premier and Minister of Agriculture respectively in the government.

The President and his deputy have been accusing 4 of the opposition co-principles, Raila Odinga, Moses Wetangula, Musalia Mudavadi and Kalonzo Musyoka who served in the capacities of Prime Minister,Minister of foreign affairs, Deputy Prime Minister and Vice President respectively of doing nothing to better the nation throughout their stay in the government.

The two have also laughed off NASA's ambitions to form the next government questioning on what new idea they have that never crossed their minds back then.

''They have been in government for almost a hundred years when combined and never did anything. What is this new development idea they have just discovered?'' wondered DP Ruto in a recent rally.
