Odinga on Sunday said that Uhuru is wasting taxpayers’ money through the foreign trips.

Raila claimed that the country has not gained anything from Uhuru’s many foreign trips.

Rail accused Uhuru of using taxpayer’s money to leisure himself when many Kenyans were grappling with high standards of living.

“President Uhuru Kenyatta should stop wasting taxpayers’ money with his many foreign trips,” said Odinga.

The Cord leader said that Uhuru had become a tourist President.

Wiper party leader Kalonzo Musyoka asked Jubilee government to explain to Kenyans how Uluru’s trips have helped the country.

Musyoka alleged that Uhuru’s many foreign trips are one of the ways the Jubilee government is using to fleece public funds.

“We cannot have a President who every time and then is out of the country and fails to account for the taxpayers money he is using while outside the country,” said Musyoka.

Bungoma senator Moses Wetangula said that Jubilee had failed to tame graft.

The senator claimed that corruption was wide-spread in government. He said that failure by President Kenyatta to act tough on graft suspects has seen the vice spread in government.

A section of Kenyans has been raising concerns over the many foreign trips by President Kenyatta.

However State House Spokesperson Manoah Esipisu last week defended Uhuru over the foreign trips saying that many multinational deals and projects have been signed courtesy of the trips by the Head of State.
