A section of elders have asked Baringo Senator Gideon Moi to focus on putting his Kanu house in order and keep off DP William Ruto.
The elders led by Rift Valley Council of Elders patron Gilbert Kabage and secretary Peter Charagu, said the Senator is not the official spokesperson of the Rift Valley residents, the Nation reports.
They said Moi’s orchestrated campaign against Ruto will not bear fruit.
Kabage on his part said Moi’s criticisms against the DP is driven by “selfishness and envy”.
He added that the Kanu boss was not happy with the development projects initiated by the Jubilee government.
Instead, they urged him to work with the DP.
