ANC leader Musalia Mudavadi has told the government to stop discrimination in the exercise of issuing IDs to Kenyans.
Mudavadi said that the exercise has been marred by the government giving the documents to regions with Jubilee supporters while those with opposition supporters are left out.
The former Deputy Prime Minister said that this was a gross misuse of power and that the opposition would not accept it.
Mudavadi also accused the government of bringing foreigners and issuing them with ID cards to help vote for Jubilee.
"Only Kenyans are allowed to vote. The move by the government to register foreigners with IDs and as voters will not be allowed," he said.
He said this when he concluded his tour of the Trans Nzoia region.
He was accompanied by MPs Yusuf Chanzu (Vihiga), Ayub Savula (Lugari) and former Minister of Agriculture Kipruto Kirwa among others.
