Strathmore University school of Business lecturer, Fredrick Onyango Ogola, has denied beating his wife to death saying that his wife succumbed to a heart attack.
Speaking to NTV, The university don attributed his wife's death Margaret Gobi Mwachongo, to a heart attack after she fell on their bed while playing.
He says that his wife was not happy after he received a phone call that led him cancelling a trip that they were scheduled to have.
Fredrick insisted that there was no domestic fight and they were just playing when she demanded to know who the caller was leading to him pushing her to the bed.
According to him, she suffered a heart attack while trying to remove the phone from his pocket.
However, the police had given contradicting information saying that the deceased succumbed to injuries after a domestic brawl.Ogolla took to Social Media in a post breaking the news to his friends."To my friends on FB, what happened was too painful that I have been unable to believe and that’s why I didn’t update you, my lovely wife left me and went to the lord. It’s so hurting in as much as it is hard to express. Rip my love," he posted.
