Thika Member of Parliament Alice Ng’ang’a has asked the government to streamline security in Garissa and neighbouring counties following the attack at the Garissa University College.

Speaking to the Press in Thika town on Saturday, the MP further asked the government to hunt down the perpetrators of the terror attack and bring them to justice.

Nga’ng’a said that the government has enough machinery to deal with terrorists who she said continue to cause havoc in the region.

She condemned the terror attack on students which claimed the lives of 147 people while scores were left injured.

“The government must continue the fight against terrorists. We should change tact in dealing with such criminals,” she said.

The lawmaker said that the economy of the country is at stake if the terrorists and criminals are given time to cause problems.

Ng’ang’a further called on leaders in the Northern Part of Kenya to share information and help curb insecurity in the region.

She urged Kenyans to remain united saying that the suspected terrorists want to causes disharmony among religious groups.

The lawmaker appealed to Thika residents to support each other this Easter holiday and remain vigilant.
