Non-Governmental Organisations and stakeholders have been challenged to come up with measures which can bring a permanent solution to street children.
According to some Community-Based Organisation they have urged them to set up measures which will help keep the young ones from the streets.
Lilian Kwamboka from Smile a Child Community-Based Organisation said that organisations and stakeholders needs to come together and help the street children.
“The number of children in the streets in Kisii is worrying and will simply increase in the coming days, we need to come up with the measures which will help them,” said Kwamboka.
She also urged the well wishers to support their Smile a Child community organisations so that they can help them with resources.
“Smile a child is community based organisation which intends to help street children, we wish to urge all well wishes to help us with resources which will help us to reach this children," she said.
"Particularly we urge the county Government of Kisii to have the measures which will help this children,” she added.
