The Employment and Labour Relations Court has ordered Kilimani OCS Ronald Ngau to serve nurses and doctors Unions officials with a Court order issued last week, which suspended the ongoing nationwide strike.
Judge Helen Wasilwa also ordered the officials to appear in Court on December 13, to show-cause why they should not be committed to civil jail for disobeying a Court order.
If they fail to appear in court as required, Judge Wasilwa said she will issue warrants of arrest to the Inspector General of Police to arrest the officials and present them in Court.
The doctors and nurses strike has entered its fourth day, Thursday, a situation that has brought health services across public hospitals to a standstill and congestion in private hospitals.
