The MCA arrived at the IEBC Central Nyanza Region offices armed with a chain which he used to lock himself onto the gate before sitting on the ground protesting against the electoral body.

The legislator then lay on the ground as police and members of the public converged to get a glimpse as Ouda vowed to fight against IEBC.

The representative was protesting after CORD leaders and supporters were tear-gassed trying to gain access to the electoral body's offices at the Anniversary Towers.

“Let me die for the sake of this country. I have a right to demonstrate and express my feelings. The current chairman of the IEBC Isaack Hassan must go. This country cannot go to another general election with the current IEBC,” he declared.

Kisumu County AP Commander Joseph Keitany and his officers were forced to intervene and unchain the MCA who was adamant to leave. He was then arrested and whisked away.

Previously, the MCA made headlines after he stripped while addressing the press in his office to protest against a statement posted on Twitter by a parody account of Deputy President William Ruto, which attacked the opposition.
