Kenyans may be subjected in yet another referendum in as many months as a resurgent Raila Odinga changes power struggle tactics.
Even after taking oath as people's president, Raila insists that the country must go for another election in August under 'new law'.
"The fight against electoral injustices is still alive and we shall ensure that an election is held in August," Raila told BBC on Wednesday.
Multiple sources within NASA indicate that the opposition is keen to drive a referendum to fix the constitution as part of neutralising 'imperial presidency'.
Among top targets includes pushing for rotational presidency, expanding the executive by introducing the Prime Minister post and strengthening the devolved governments.
"It is not going to be business as usual. We must neutralise imperial presidency by curbing the monopoly of communities.
"We shall push for rotational presidency, re-introduction of PM post and increasing allocation to counties," said an ODM lawyer who spoke in confidence.
Although NASA is yet to roll out the plan, it will however make the plan public next Friday when all principals meet to discuss cracks within the coalition.
To increase the momentum, it is said, NASA will hold rallies across the country with Wajir, Narok, Kisii and Eldoret being lined up to host the grand rallies.
