A Naivasha Secondary School student has died at the Kenyatta National Hospital after being hit with a blunt object by another student.
This happened on Tuesday following a quarrel over a blanket. The deceased allegedly differed with his colleague who then hit him on the head with a blunt object. He was rushed to Naivasha District Hospital where he was then referred him to Kenyatta National Hospital where he later died while receiving treatment.
Speaking to the media this morning, the Naivasha Sub County education officer Mbugua Kabaki said that all the students, apart from the form fours have been sent home after the incident.
"The police were here and they took statements from a number of students and we have contacted the parents of the deceased. At the moment, I cannot say much. Let us wait for the police investigation which will give us the whole report," said Kabaki.
